Leduc Co-op Food Store is currently recruiting for an Assistant Meat Manager for our Meat Department. In this role, the successful candidate will assist the Meat Manager in all aspects of running a Meat Department, including but not limited to: production (cutting, value added), ordering, stocking, merchandising, managing staff, providing superior customer service, sanitation and health and safety. Successful candidate should have a background in working at a busy retail meat department, and experience in being a manager. Candidates must also have strong interpersonal and customer service skills, be a team player, and be highly self motivated. Hours of work will be early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, with benefits after the probationary period.
